Account Broker - Employee Benefits

Work plan: Hybrid, Monday - Friday | Contract: Full time

The Role:
As an Employee Benefits Account Broker, you'll play a key part in delivering high levels of client service and managing strategic benefit solutions. You'll work closely with clients, insurers, and internal teams to manage and administer employee benefits programmes.

You'll handle a portfolio of clients, manage renewals and mid-term adjustments, support new business activity, and provide ongoing servicing across PMI, Group Risk, Dental, and Health Cash Plans.

Strong communication and organisation are essential, as this role sits at the centre of client, insurer, and internal team interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management

* Maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers

* Deliver consistent, high-quality service

Needs Analysis & Solutions

* Understand client requirements and work with insurers to create tailored solutions

* Support preparation of recommendations and proposals

Renewals & Mid-Term Adjustments

* Manage renewals and policy changes accurately and on time

* Attend client meetings alongside Account Executives

Systems & Administration

* Maintain accurate records on Acturis

* Use insurer portals and systems effectively

Workload Management

* Organise workload to meet deadlines

* Ensure income is recorded correctly

What are we Looking For?
Essential

* Strong understanding of the employee benefits market (PMI, Group Risk, Business Protection)

* Knowledge of insurer markets and products

* FCA and compliance awareness

* Confident using CRM systems, insurer portals, and broker systems

* Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
