Refrigeration Engineer

Monday - Friday - 08.30 - 05.30pm

Salary is negotiable upon experience

We are currently recruiting for a Refrigeration Engineer to join our client based in Melksham.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain and repair refrigeration systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to air commercial refrigeration cabinets and plant.

* Build and install new refrigeration systems as required

* Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate.

* Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to improve the business's productivity

* Provide training to junior staff, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.

Requirements:

* Time served refrigeration engineer with hands-on experience in refrigeration plant.

* Strong understanding of refrigeration plant and it's components

* Experience in equipment repair, demonstrating problem-solving skills.

* Ability to mentor junior team members effectively.

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

* A proactive approach to work with a strong attention to detail.
