Shift Manager - Food Manufacturing
Salary: £35,000 - £37,000
Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm, Monday to Friday

A well-established food manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to lead afternoon operations within a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can motivate teams, maintain high standards, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations on shift.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage production teams to achieve daily targets and operational efficiency

Ensure all food safety, quality, and hygiene standards are maintained

*

Monitor production performance and implement improvements where required

*

Coordinate staff allocation and provide leadership to team leaders and operatives

*

Support training, development, and performance management of team members

*

Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth production flow

Requirements

*

Previous team leader or management experience within a production environment

*

Food manufacturing experience is essential

*

Strong leadership and communication skills

*

Ability to manage performance, motivate teams, and solve problems quickly

*

Good understanding of food safety and production processes
