Paraplanner, Milton Keynes

Hybrid working

Competitive salary dependent on experience

This paraplanning role is best suited for experienced paraplanners or ambitious financial administrators who are looking to step up. If you have a strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and tax planning, and you’re looking for a role that offers both variety and development, this could be the right fit. The appeal of the role lies in joining a supportive, growing advice business where you will work closely with advisers and be a central part of delivering excellent client outcomes.

The Business

This is a well-established independent financial advice practice that has grown to become one of the largest in its region. The business provides fully independent advice across pensions, investments and protection, supported by robust in-house research and portfolio management capabilities. Advisers are backed by a skilled paraplanning and administration team, and the firm has a reputation for offering clear, client-focused advice in a professional but approachable way.

The Role

As a paraplanner, you’ll be working hand-in-hand with advisers to deliver high-quality financial planning for clients. A typical day could include researching pension and investment solutions, preparing suitability letters, cashflow models and recommendation reports, and ensuring cases move smoothly from advice through to implementation. You’ll liaise with advisers to clarify client objectives, review technical details, and play a key role in making sure recommendations are robust, compliant and tailored. This is a collaborative environment where you’ll feel part of the advice process and valued for your technical expertise.

  • Competitive salary (based on experience and qualifications)
  • Support with professional development and further qualifications
