About the Company

Our client is a well-established and growing specialist finance lender, known for delivering fast, flexible, and customer-focused bridging and property finance solutions. Due to ongoing expansion, they are seeking a highly experienced Head of Operations with a deep understanding of the non-regulated bridging finance market to lead their operational teams and ensure seamless execution across the full lending lifecycle.

Role Overview

As Head of Operations, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operational running of the business. You will oversee and enhance systems, processes, and team performance across underwriting, completions, post-completion servicing, and recoveries. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, where your industry expertise will directly influence risk control, credit quality, and commercial success.

Requirements

✅ Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role within a bridging finance or property finance lender
✅ Deep technical knowledge of the bridging finance lifecycle, from enquiry through to redemption and recoveries
✅ Solid understanding of credit risk, underwriting, book exposure, and loan servicing
✅ Hands-on experience with AML/KYC processes, financial crime prevention, and FCA best practice
✅ Familiarity with legal recovery pathways, including LPA Receiverships, administration, and enforcement rights
✅ Track record of developing in-life portfolio management strategies and operational process improvements
✅ Experience managing third-party relationships (surveyors, legal, recoveries, and administration teams)
✅ Strong leadership capability with experience developing and motivating high-performing teams
✅ Commercial acumen with the ability to align operational decisions with strategic business goals
