About Us:
We are a well-established and forward-thinking construction company, specialising in social housing projects across West Yorkshire. With a strong pipeline of both new build and refurbishment work, we are looking to expand our commercial team by appointing a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our Brighouse office.

The Role:
As Quantity Surveyor, you will take a key role in managing the commercial aspects of multiple social housing schemes, including both new builds and refurbishments. You will work closely with our project managers and site teams to ensure delivery is on time, to budget, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

* Preparation and analysis of costings for tenders and projects

* Budget control, cost forecasting, and cash flow reporting

* Measurement and valuation of works including subcontractor packages

* Management of subcontractor procurement, payments, and final accounts

* Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project efficiency

* Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities

* Preparation of monthly CVRs and financial reports

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction or housing sector

* Background in social housing projects (new build and/or refurbishment) preferred

* Excellent understanding of JCT contracts and cost management

* Strong communication and negotiation skills

* Full UK Driving Licence
