Support a Key Stage 2 Pupil with an EHCP and Social & Emotional Needs

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Primary Teaching Assistant to join our partner primary school in Haslington from September 2025.

This is a full-time, term-time only role, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm, supporting a child in Key Stage 2 with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and social and emotional needs.

About the Role:

Provide one-to-one support to a Key Stage 2 child with additional needs
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted interventions
Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Adapt learning activities to meet the child's individual needs
Support the child both in class and during unstructured times as needed
Help foster a positive and inclusive primary school environmentWe Are Looking For Someone Who:

Has experience supporting children with social, emotional or behavioural needs (desirable but not essential)
Is caring, patient, and consistent
Communicates effectively with children and staff
Can adapt to different situations and learning stylesJob Details:
