Our client, a Civil Engineering contractor, deliver solutions across the energy lifecycle, including electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV infrastructure, and metering.

Due to recently securing a 12-year framework with National Grid for the South West & Wales, they are looking for a proactive Site Supervisor to join their Electricity Transmission team in Wales and South West England, where you'll be right at the heart of delivering projects that matter - supporting the safe, timely, and high-quality completion of substation and transmission line works (up to 400kV).

As a Civils Supervisor you will:

* Leading site crews and subcontractors day-to-day

* Ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards

* Supporting the Site Manager with daily operations and reporting

* Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings

* Managing site records, materials, and equipment

* Identifying and supporting training needs within the team

* Promoting a strong health, safety, and environmental culture

* Liaising with clients, engineers, and site management to keep everything on track

Our client requires a Civils Supervisor with:

* SSSTS Site Supervisor certification

* NVQ Level 3+ in Civil Engineering

* National Grid Competent Person certification

* CSCS/CPCS/ECITB Safety Card

* First Aid at Work qualification

* Bonus: Lift Supervisor, Temporary Works, or HSG47 certifications

* 5+ years' experience in Electricity Transmission/Distribution

* 2+ years' leadership experience on-site

* Able to read and interpret technical drawings

* Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

* A great communicator and team leader with a problem-solving mindset

Salary and benefits include:

* £50,000 per annum
