Day Shift Engineer
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off - 6:30am to 6:30pm
Salary: £42,000 + Overtime

The Role

We are seeking a Day Shift Engineer to join the team at a large and diverse site comprising offices, hangars, and training facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a well-maintained site with modern plant and equipment, as part of a 50-strong engineering team across days and shifts.

There is significant overtime available.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across site.

*

Fault finding, repair, and general building services maintenance.

*

Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures.

*

Liaise directly with the client and maintain a professional, customer-focused approach at all times.

*

Support wider engineering team and contribute to continuous improvement across the site.

*

Accurately complete job reports and compliance documentation.

Candidate Requirements

Experience within commercial building services maintenance.

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Comfortable in a client-facing role.

Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset — attitude is key.
