Our client is an award winning professional services firm operating from across the UK, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
They serve clients through six business streams:
• International Development
• Infrastructure Built Environment
• Programme Project Management

• Environmental

Due to continued success and growth plans they are seeking a full time experienced hydrogeologist or Geo-Environmental Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to join an experienced, well established regional team.

The role will include;
• Supporting the development and delivery of the groundwater business.
• You will provide support with the management of their team of graduate, consultant and senior hydrogeologist on a National basis.
• You will provide expert groundwater and geo-environmental advice to clients and junior team.
• You will have experience in the design, procurement, supervision and management of hydrogeological or geo-environmental site investigations.
• You will be responsible for developing new contacts, opportunities and contributing to and managing groundwater related projects. You will need to have a track record of identifying opportunities, pricing and winning work.
• You will have extensive experience in desk studies, ground investigation, hydrogeological risk and impact assessments, quantitative risk assessment, project management and client liaison.
• You will become a member of a busy team delivering focused solutions for our growing client base, with emphasis on technical excellence, innovation, client care and effective project management.
• You will be working alongside other groundwater, land contamination, environmental due diligence, ground investigation and geo-technical specialists to deliver holistic solutions to clients' needs in these areas. •Additionally, you will collaborate with geo-environmental teams in other offices and with other specialists in the planning, environment and
engineering teams.

Key attributes:

• A sound technical knowledge, enthusiasm, self-motivation and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The role will require travel, principally within the South of England and London but there may also be occasional requirements to support other Regional offices within the UK.

About You:
• You will hold a Degree in geology, engineering geology, hydrogeology or relevant environmental science discipline.
• Whilst not essential, it would be beneficial for you to have a post graduate qualification such as a MSc, you should also be working towards Chartership with a relevant body, such as CEnv, CIWEM, IEMA or GeoSoc.
• You will have excellent experience of geo-environment work.
