We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our multi-disciplinary team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support the delivery of therapy programs that make a real difference in the lives of students in Acton.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the school's Occupational Therapist in delivering 1:1 and group therapy sessions
Assist with sensory integration activities and fine/gross motor skill development
Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of pupils' progress
Help adapt the learning environment to meet individual sensory and physical needs
Collaborate with teaching staff, therapists, and families to ensure a holistic approach
Maintain accurate records and assist with therapy-related administrative tasksPerson Specification:

A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy Assistant practice (or relevant experience in a therapy or SEN support role)
Experience working with children or young people with special needs, ideally in an educational or therapy setting
Understanding of sensory processing and developmental challenges
A caring, patient, and adaptable nature
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)What We Offer:
