Mapped Recruitment is partnering with a client on their Interim Technical Advisor/IT Support hire to join their team on a 9-month FTC.
This is not your typical hardware-focused IT support role — my client needs someone who can provide exceptional internal application support, especially across Business Central, Office 365, and in-house tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing frontline support to colleagues across stores and offices
- Troubleshooting issues with Business Central, MS365, and custom business apps
- Liaising with external vendors to escalate and resolve technical issues
- Ensuring fast resolution of tickets while maintaining top-tier customer service
- Assisting occasionally with printer/device queries (minimal hardware involved)
- Adhere to IT security best practices and assist in threat monitoring and mitigation.
Key Requirements:
- 2–4 years' experience in IT support or application support roles
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint admin
- Exposure to Business Central or similar ERP tools (ideal, not essential)
- Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical users
- Comfortable managing and prioritising tickets in a fast-paced environment
- Bonus: Some familiarity with printers or device support
