Are you a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of primary-aged children?
We're seeking an adaptable and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Nuneaton (CV10). This is a full-time role supporting pupils across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, so experience with one or both curriculums is essential.

About the Role:

You'll be working alongside class teachers and the SENCO to provide tailored support to with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD and Down Syndrome. This is a and varied role that requires flexibility, empathy and strong behaviour management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs
Support SEN pupils within the classroom across different year groups, depending on where support is needed
Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
Promote positive behaviour and inclusion in the classroom
Track and report pupil progress to the SENCOCandidate Requirements:

Experience supporting children with SEN (e.g. Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome)
Knowledge of the KS1 and/or KS2 national curriculum
Calm, nurturing and adaptable approach to support
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A valid DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)About the School:
