Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Location: Stockport
Hours: Flexible - Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm
Contract: Full-time and part-time opportunities available

Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a number of local nurseries and pre-schools in Stockport who are seeking Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to join them on both a full-time and part-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and nurturing practitioner to support children within early years settings, helping to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can thrive.

The role offers the chance to work across different nursery and pre-school environments, or within a consistent placement, depending on your preference and availability.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of children within the nursery/EYFS setting
• Deliver and assist with play-based learning activities in line with EYFS
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
• Support children with daily routines, including mealtimes and personal care
• Work collaboratively with nursery staff and early years teams
• Observe, assess, and support children's learning and development

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential)
• Experience working within a nursery or pre-school setting
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• Paediatric First Aid certificate (required for candidates qualified after 2014)
• Ability to work 8:30-5:30, Monday to Friday

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to provide two references covering the last two years of employment history
• An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

Pay

£14- £15 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
