A leading principal contractor would like to appoint a Senior Design Manager for their expertise on a major residential regeneration scheme in East London.

This 5 year multi-phased development will see the creation of over 700 new homes across the London Borough of Haringey, with an estimated build cost of £600m.

In this senor position you will play an integral part in the management of the design process for design and build or traditional contracts, acting as the lead contact with the design teams, client and production teams. .

Along with the ususla Design Management responsibilities you will also .

• Review and input into the design and target programme procurement
• Manage the design delivery programme
• Manage the project risk including quality control.
• Assist the Design Team in producing, and monitoring the development of robust H&S design management plans

Experience & Attributes Required

• A minimum of 5 years design management experience with an architectural practice, principal contractor or a developer
• Degree in Architecture and / or RIBA
• Up to date knowledge of building regulations and high risk buildings will be essential
