Teaching Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with a fantastic specialist autism school in Totton, offering a unique opportunity to join a small, supportive team making a real difference every day.

We are looking for a dedicated and resilient Learning Support Assistant to join on a full-time, term-time basis—perfect for someone who wants a rewarding role where no two days are the same.

This welcoming school supports just 20-25 students aged 11-19, giving you the chance to build strong, meaningful relationships and provide truly personalised support.

The Role:
You'll work closely with students on a 1:1 basis, helping them engage in learning, build confidence, and overcome challenges. You'll be part of a supportive team, creating a calm and structured environment where students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) can thrive.

We're looking for someone who is:

Confident, resilient, and calm under pressure
Patient, caring, and genuinely passionate about supporting young people
Comfortable working 1:1 with students aged 11-19
Committed to making a positive, lasting impact
Experience in SEND or similar roles is helpful, but not essential, your attitude and approach are what matter most.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
