Finance Assistant - Hybrid Working

About the Role

As Finance Assistant, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day finance operations, and contributing to process improvements. You'll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth financial work-flows and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain financial systems, including the Penair accounting platform
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Process client payments via bank transfer, card, and other methods
Respond to supplier queries and ensure prompt resolution
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Monitor cash flow and support financial planning
Collaborate with colleagues across departments to provide financial insights
Contribute to system and process improvements
Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks and finance projects

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in finance or administration, ideally within the travel industry, but not essential
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confident using financial systems and general software
Organised, enthusiastic, and customer-focused
