The Recruitment Group are currently looking for an experience Manual Machine Operative to join our growing engineering client based in Hyde. Previous turning experience would be desirable. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join a growing business with multiple sites across the UK. This role will require the successful candidate to work independently for large amounts of time throughout the day, so previous experience and a positive attitude to work are essential. The ability to work from drawings and samples would also be essential. Duties of this role will include:

Working on Centre lathe manual machines
Milling/Turning
Operating vertical borer machine
Creating parts from drawings
Quality control
Supporting in other departments where necessary
Adhering to H+S policy on-site
The successful manual machine operative must:

Be qualified with and NVQ level 3 or equivalent
Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Have great attention to detail
Be adaptable
Be an effective problem solver
