Day-to-day of the role: - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French lessons to students of varying abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic development.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and maintain student interest.
- Participate in departmental meetings, contributing to the development of the curriculum and teaching resources.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance teaching practices and share innovative lesson ideas.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with educational strategies and pedagogical techniques.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Degree in French or a related subject.
- Proven experience in teaching French at secondary school level.
- Excellent command of the French language and a deep understanding of French culture.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
