Service Manager – Extra Care Unit

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable care organisation for an experienced Service Manager to oversee and lead high-quality, person-centred services in the Bolton area.

• Lead and manage day-to-day service delivery, ensuring high standards of care
• Deliver outcome-focused, person-centred support in line with best practice
• Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and local authority requirements
• Manage, support, and develop staff through supervision, appraisal, and training
• Oversee audits, quality assurance, and continuous improvement processes
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders
• Support individuals to access community opportunities and develop independence
• Handle employee relations matters including absence, performance, and investigations
• Participate in on-call duties as required

• Previous experience in a Service Manager or similar leadership role within health & social care
• Strong knowledge of CQC standards and relevant legislation
• Understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding practices
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
