The Position - Learning Mentor

Qualiteach are seeking a dedicated and proactive Learning Mentor to join a supportive primary school in Southwark. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour, emotional regulation, and social communication needs. You will work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them build confidence, improve behaviour, and engage positively in their learning. The role involves implementing behaviour strategies, supporting wellbeing, building trusting relationships, and working collaboratively with teachers and pastoral staff. Excellent communication skills, resilience, patience, and a calm approach are essential. This is a full-time, long-term position offering immediate start and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to pupils who need extra guidance and support.
