Supply Chain Administrator - Livingston

Neo Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading organisation in Livingston to recruit a Supply Chain Administrator for a full-time, permanent position. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and an interest in the end-to-end supply chain process.

The Role:
You'll play a key role in supporting the Supply Chain and Shipping functions, ensuring smooth coordination between suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams. This position offers a varied workload and excellent exposure to international logistics, procurement, and SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Issue RFQs (Request for Quotes) to suppliers

* Assist Buyers with sourcing and cost-saving opportunities

* Analyse and challenge supplier quotes, liaising with technical teams as needed

* Maintain supplier pricing and data in SAP

* Expedite purchase orders and follow up on delays or unconfirmed orders

* Provide back-up support for open order reporting and goods receipting in SAP

* Collaborate with the Shipping Co-ordinator to create shipping labels and documentation

* Draft international shipping paperwork

* Help maintain strong working relationships with Freight Forwarders through regular contact and site visits

* Support occasional physical stock checks in the warehouse

About You:

* Previous experience in a supply chain, procurement or logistics role or keen to enter this profession

* Comfortable working with SAP or similar ERP systems (desitable)

* Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

* Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

* Organised, adaptable and able to work under pressure
