Epic Business Analyst - Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology

Job Description

 The Epic Business Analyst ensures that the operational interests of their respective functional areas (clinical, revenue cycle, or ancillary departments) are being fully represented in the day-to-day operations of the Information Systems Department.  This role supports all applications deployed within Harris Health System.

The role, scope and responsibilities: 

  • Completing Epic Beaker build tasks (we are in the middle of an active project
  • will be involved in testing
  • Go Live
  • Operational support - issue resolution, responding to tickets

Minimum Qualifications
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Computer Science Bachelor's degree or related experience. Special consideration for candidates with Epic Beaker AP (Anatomic Pathology) or CP (Clinical Pathology) certification

Work Experience (Years and Area):

  • 3+ Years within I.S. 
  • One (1) year Hospital/Health Care Organizations.

Special Requirements
Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking), Writing /Composing (Correspondence / Reports)

Other Skills: Analytical,  Design, Research, Statistical
