Senior Electrical Engineer - £55,000 - £65,000 - Building Services

An amazing opportunity has become available for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a rapidly growing Building Services consultancy on a permanent basis.

Roles & Responsibilities: As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will:

* Lead electrical design projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

* Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver innovative solutions tailored to project requirements.

* Ensuring compliance with the UK Building regulations, codes and standards.

* Delivering or inputting into decarbonisation, sustainability and net-zero carbon strategies

* Mentor junior team members, fostering their professional development and growth.

* Continuously evaluate and implement emerging technologies to optimize design efficiency and performance.

Qualifications & Experience: To thrive in this role, you'll need:

* Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

* Proven experience in electrical design engineering

* In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, LV distribution, small power, general and emergency lighting, containment, fire detection, alarm and access control, CCTV and lighting protection.

* Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux / Relux).

* Cable calculation experience, using relevant software such as AMTECH

* Previous experience in a Senior Electrical Engineer position.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
