Location: Lower Sydenham (Fixed Location)Are you a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner seeking an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young children? We are thrilled to offer three positions for qualified practitioners to join a vibrant nursery in Lower Sydenham. With roles available in both our Baby Room (for children aged 6 months to 2 years) and our Toddler Room (for children aged 2 to 3 years), we are looking for enthusiastic individuals ready to nurture and inspire the little ones.The role encompasses 40 hours of work per week across 4 or 5 days, with shifts scheduled between 07:15 and 18:15. They are open all year round, providing essential care for children over 51 weeks, with a one-week closure during the Christmas period.Key Responsibilities:- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and explore.- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities tailored to individual developmental needs.- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting effective communication.- Observe and track children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development.- Actively contribute to a positive team atmosphere, participating in regular meetings and professional development.Ideal Candidate:- Holds a minimum Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.- Ideally possesses over 1 year of experience in an early years setting.- Demonstrates a genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their development.- Is a reliable team player, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues.- Displays a proactive approach to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.- Is adaptable and open to feedback, committed to personal and professional growth.- Shares a vision for high-quality early years education.Benefits:- Competitive salary and opportunities for salary increases based on experience and qualifications.- Generous annual leave of 25 days (plus bank holidays) for full-time staff, or 20 days (plus bank holidays) for those working four days.- Continuous professional development and training opportunities.- Supportive and friendly work environment with a dedicated team.- Excellent transport links located directly next to Lower Sydenham train station, with convenient on-street parking available.If you are ready to take the next step in your career and join a fantastic team, please apply here.
