Due to the regulatory nature of this role, all applicants must hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care Children and Young People’s Services or equivalent. To be shortlisted, candidates must have:

• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care or equivalent childcare/social care qualification
• Demonstrable experience managing a children’s residential care home
• Strong knowledge of OFSTED standards, safeguarding protocols, and regulatory compliance

RESPONSIBITLIES

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, Children & Young People’s Services, or equivalent.
• Recent experience relevant to residential care within the last five years.
• Experience supervising managing or mentoring professional staff.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of Children Homes regulation including Quality Standards 2015, The Children’s Homes Amendment Regulations 2011, Care Standards Act 2000, Ofsted and related legislation, and policies and procedures.
