Academics are working with a school who are looking for a Classroom assistant / Learning support assistant who has a passion to make a difference to children's lives.

You must be able to communicate effectively with young people, be calm, confident, flexible and committed. A desire to work with young people and as part of a team is essential.

This Classroom assistant / Learning support assistant role in Guildford may include, but not be limited to the following responsibilities:

Supporting children's behaviour for learning in the classroom
Assisting children with their understanding of the teacher's instructions
Assisting with note taking in exercise books
You may work with individual learners in the classroom 1:1 or you may work with individuals or small groups in the Learning Support department.
Maintaining pupil progress records
