About us

A new alternative provision for secondary-aged students (11-16) with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), and/or experiences of trauma.

Our mission is to create a safe, therapeutic and aspirational environment where every student is supported to re-engage with learning, rebuild trust, and thrive socially, emotionally and academically.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Teacher to join our founding team and drive high-quality teaching and learning across our new provision. You will model best practice, support colleagues, and help shape a curriculum that meets the diverse needs of our learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that support academic and emotional development.

  • Support with curriculum design, assessment, and progress tracking in a new school environment.

  • Implement trauma-informed and restorative approaches to behaviour and learning.

  • Collaborate with the SENCO, therapists, and external professionals to ensure holistic support.

  • Contribute to EHCP reviews and personalised learning plans.


About You
  • QTS/QTLS with experience in SEMH, SEND, or alternative provision settings.

  • Skilled in adaptive teaching and relational behaviour support.

  • Knowledge of therapeutic approaches (e.g. PACE, Zones of Regulation) desirable.

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

  • Passionate about equity, inclusion and student voice.

  • Assessor/IQA qualifications desirable - salary will reflect additional qualifications.

  • Online checks in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
