You will help contribute to the success of this high-quality British manufacturer, who is a well-established, global organisation based in Bedfordshire. Joining a dynamic and forward-thinking team of customer service advisors, this employer is seeking 2 additional employees with firsthand experience supporting clients in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Your knowledge of manufacturing environments will give you an edge in providing tailored, solution-focused customer care.

Key Responsibilities

* Serve as the primary contact for customer queries and customer orders, working across several internal teams to source relevant information

* Providing accurate order updates on all customer produces, including price, availability and distribution timescales

* Liaise with internal departments (production, engineering, logistics) to ensure smooth order fulfilment

* Working with the wider business to delivery standardisation of processes and communication methods

* Comply with all Health and Safety Legislation, policies and procedures

* Handle all queries with professionalism and urgency

* Maintain CRM systems and manage order documentation through a SAP ERP system

* Create purchase order requests for finished goods and services, working closely with finance and manufacturing teams

* Provide verbal and written communication to customer and internal departments, requiring good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)

About You

* Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills to exceptionally high standards

* Fluent in English - spoken and written

* Technically minded with the ability to grasp product specifications

* Excellent attention to detail and time management

* Confident working with ERP/CRM systems and MS Office tools

* Able to stay calm under pressure and think on your feet when faced with challenges
