Senior Engineer - Civils (PAYE Only)

Perth | Major Utilities & Concrete Structures | Start ASAP

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor who require a Senior Engineer to support ongoing works in Perth. The role involves setting out for above‑ground concrete structures and large‑diameter pipelines (around 1.5m), along with providing technical support to the wider site team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer with utilities or water‑sector experience who enjoys being hands‑on and ensuring high‑quality delivery on site.

Key Responsibilities

Setting out for above‑ground concrete structures

Setting out and supporting installation of wide‑diameter pipelines (1.5m)

Providing technical and QA support to the site team

Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with specification

Working closely with the Site Manager and Project Engineer

Maintaining accurate records, surveys and documentation

What We're Looking For

Strong civil engineering background with previous Scottish Water experience (desirable)

Confident setting out pipelines, concrete structures and general civils works

Good understanding of utilities, sequencing and site coordination

Strong communicator with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset

Preferred Certifications

SMSTS

EUSR Water Hygiene

EUSR DOMS

EUSR 1 & 2
