We're looking for a Compliance Manager to bring expertise, rigour and proactive oversight to our recycling and waste‑management operations. You'll play a key role in ensuring we meet our regulatory, environmental and technical obligations while championing a strong compliance culture across the business.

  • Support evidence gathering for End‑of‑Waste status and maintain associated records.

Audits, Inspections & Sampling

  • Lead planned audits and inspections across internal sites, suppliers and third‑party facilities.

  • Record findings, raise non‑conformances and help track corrective actions.

  • Conduct material inspections and sampling; coordinate internal or external testing.

  • Maintain audit schedules, inspection logs and sampling/testing records.

Documentation Control & Technical Support

  • Review, organise and distribute compliance‑critical documents, test certificates and supporting records.

  • Support the creation of technical submissions and compliance evidence packs.

  • Maintain compliance documentation relating to waste protocols and customer declarations.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Collate and validate compliance data, including test results and waste‑acceptance information.

  • Monitor waste flows, waste‑to‑landfill percentages and other KPIs.

  • Produce regular compliance dashboards and reports for operations, technical and environmental teams.

  • Ensure accurate, timely data is ready for external audits or regulatory enquiries.

Cross‑Functional Liaison

  • Work closely with teams across the business to improve compliance processes and documentation standards.

  • Provide clear feedback on audit findings and required actions.

  • Participate in site meetings and share compliance insights.

Health, Safety & Environmental Responsibility

  • Follow all company HSE procedures and promote safe working practices.

  • Report health, safety or environmental risks promptly.

  • Support a positive and proactive compliance culture.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong understanding of environmental legislation, waste protocols and compliance standards.

  • Excellent attention to detail and confidence reviewing technical documentation and data.

  • Experience conducting audits, inspections or sampling activities.

  • Clear communicator with strong report‑writing skills.

  • Highly organised with strong record‑keeping discipline.

  • Able to work independently across multiple sites.

  • Full UK driving licence.
