AC / Refrigeration Engineer - Midlands
Up to £45k basic + overtime + door to door travel + benefits

I'm currently recruiting for a Refrigeration Engineer to join a well-established, family-run business that looks after a variety of commercial sites across the Midlands. They've been going strong for decades and pride themselves on looking after their engineers, offering good earning potential, job security, and a supportive team environment.
This role would suit someone who's confident working on their own, happy dealing directly with customers, and enjoys getting stuck into fault finding, service and maintenance work.

What's on offer:

Basic salary up to £45,000 (depending on experience)
40-hour week (Monday to Friday)
Paid door to door travel
Overtime paid at 1.5x weekdays/Saturdays and 2x on Sundays/Bank Holidays
1 in 5 call out rota with additional standby pay
23 days holiday + bank holidays
Christmas bonus
Company van + fuel card, plus phone and laptop provided

Majority of sites are within an hour of home - no crazy travel!
The job:

Service, maintenance and breakdowns of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
Fault finding, diagnostics and completing reports electronically
Covering a patch roughly within an hour of Birmingham
Working safely and keeping high standards of customer service
Working on splits, VRV / VRF's, Ice Machines, Bottle Coolers, Display Cabinets in pubs / restaurants, leisure facilities etc
What you'll need:

F-Gas (C&G 2079) qualified
NVQ / C&G Level 2 in Refrigeration or equivalent
At least 5 years' experience in a similar role (service/maintenance)
Good customer-facing skills, with a proactive approach
Full UK Driving License
