Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Location: Nottingham, NG7 2RD
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Flexibility required; subject to approval by Contract Manager)
Salary: up to £41,000

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Nottingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems across a commercial site, ensuring all works are completed to high standards of safety, reliability, and compliance. This is a full-time role suited to someone with experience in facilities management or commercial maintenance environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site

Respond to on-call emergencies within a 1-hour SLA, assess and begin rectification

*

Inspect, test, and repair electrical systems and components in accordance with regulations

*

Work with AHU (Air Handling Units) systems and support HVAC maintenance where applicable

*

Liaise with site staff and contractors to ensure minimal disruption during works

*

Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records

Requirements:

Essential:

*

18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification

*

Experience in FM (Facilities Management) or Commercial environments

*

Knowledge of Air Handling Units (AHUs)

Desirable:

*

2391 Inspection & Testing qualification

*

F-Gas certification

Additional Information:

Full UK driving licence required

*

Flexibility in working hours may be needed based on operational demands

Participation in an on-call rota is expected
