We are seeking a highly experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting diverse learning needs and creating an inclusive educational environment.
Day-to-day of the role: - Provide tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.
- Work closely with the teaching staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
- Assist in the development of social skills and positive behaviour through structured support.
- Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students.
- Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Facilitate small group activities and one-on-one support sessions.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students under your care.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Extensive experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or similar role.
- NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Patience, empathy, and a dedicated approach to student development.
