Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 per annum

Property Manager - Newton Abbot, Devon - Basic Salary £25,000 -  An excellent opportunity for an existing Property Manager or Lettings professional to join this vibrant and well established independent Devon estate agency. As Property Manager you will be responsible for a large residential portfolio; strong organisational and communication skills are essential. The role provides a good life/work balance with no weekend working required. As the Property Manager you will bring your dedication and hard-working approach to ensure the department operates effectively. As Property manager you will be comfortable working in all scenarios with a positive attitude and thrive in a busy environment; you enjoy working with autonomy as being part of a dedicated team. Previous experience of property management or similar is required however training will be provided to the right individual. Responsibilities as a Property Manager include:
  • Managing the day-to-day property portfolio including maintenance, repairs, and tenant communication
  • Conducting property inspections and ensuring properties meet compliance and regulations requirements 
  • Responding to tenant inquiries and resolving any issues that arise in a timely and professional manner
  • Negotiating lease agreements and renewals with tenants
  • Ensuring that all leases are up-to-date and in compliance with company policies
  • Managing rent collection and ensuring that all payments are received on time
  • Maintaining accurate records of all property-related transactions and activities
Skills & Experience required for this Property Manager role:
  • Proven experience as a Property Manager or similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Knowledge of local property laws and regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
  • Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
