Job title: Bid Manager

Location: Worcestershire/ Shropshire (1-2 days a week from home)

PurpleFox Talent are a leading Bidding & Proposals Recruitment Specialist Agency and we are currently partnered with a well regarding Construction and Engineering Contractor with their search for a new Bid Manager!

Candidate Profile:

* Bid Manager:

* Ideally experienced with end-to-end bid management.

* Able to manage the full process independently, including writing.

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tenders.

* Bid management experience from sectors outside of construction is acceptable, though construction experience would be beneficial.

* If Bid Writer, stepping up:

* Strong writing skills are key.

* Someone who could progress into a Bid Manager role over time.

* Sector background flexible — experience in other industries will be considered.

Workload:

* Typically managing between 2-4 bids at any one time, with varied submission deadlines over a month.

* Bids range in value from £20k subcontract works up to multi £Million projects

* Bid types range from simple method statements to complex frameworks and technically detailed contractor bids.

Team Structure and Culture:

* Small, growing, and supportive team.

* Current team includes a Bid Manager, Bid Writer and a Tender Coordinator, all reporting into the Head of Bids.

* Collaborative environment where everyone is willing to assist one another.

* Pleasant office environment with free, secure onsite parking and nearby amenities

Non-Negotiables:

* Office presence 3-4 days per week is essential to maintain team interaction.

* Bid Managers must have prior bid management experience; sector experience flexible.

* Bid Writers must possess proven strong bid writing abilities. Non-construction sectors will also be considered.

Salary and Benefits:

* Negotiable depending on experience plus car allowance/ company car (For Bid Manager, not Bid Writer)
