Nocturnal Recruitment Solutions are seeking experienced and dedicated Support workers to support adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments. This role involves delivering high-quality, person-centred care that promotes independence, wellbeing, and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments.

* Support residents with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, nutrition, and emotional wellbeing.

* Promote independence, confidence, and social inclusion through tailored support and meaningful engagement.

* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent, coordinated, and effective care delivery.

* Maintain accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in residents' health or behaviour.

* Identify and escalate safeguarding concerns promptly, ensuring residents' safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

* Develop strong professional relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, ensuring clear communication and a positive environment.

* Contribute to the development and review of individual care plans, ensuring they remain responsive to residents' evolving needs.

* Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills, knowledge, and quality of care.

Requirements:

* Minimum 1 year experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, or physical/sensory impairments

* Understanding of person-centred care principles

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Valid DBS within the last 12 months (preferably on the update service) or willingness to complete a new one

* Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude

* Flexibility to work across shifts, including evenings, weekends, and nights

* Knowledge of positive behaviour support or sensory care techniques

* Must be happy to provide personal care
