Are you an enthusiastic and committed KS2 teacher looking for a fresh opportunity in a supportive and collaborative school community? We are looking to appoint a talented Key Stage 2 teacher to work primarily within one of our schools in Bath and North East Somerset.
This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about teaching, values teamwork, and wants to make a meaningful impact on pupils' learning and wellbeing.
About the Role:
You will take responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class, delivering high-quality teaching that meets the needs of all learners. Working alongside a supportive leadership team and dedicated staff, you will plan engaging, inclusive lessons and contribute to a positive school culture where every child feels valued and inspired to achieve their best.
Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering a broad, balanced, and creative curriculum in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2.

Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and provide targeted support.
*
Creating a classroom environment that supports pupil wellbeing, motivation, and independence.
*
Working closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure strong outcomes for all pupils.
*
Engaging with professional development and trust-wide initiatives that enhance teaching and learning.
*
Supporting school events, enrichment activities, and wider opportunities that promote the school's values and ethos.
We are looking for someone who:

Holds QTS and has experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
*
Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and a clear understanding of effective teaching strategies.
*
Is enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to ongoing professional growth.
*
Has high expectations for all learners and is passionate about helping every child reach their full potential.
*
Communicates clearly and effectively with pupils, colleagues, and families.
*
Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to the wider school community.
*
Is organised, proactive, and able to manage responsibilities with confidence and care.
