A leading independent boarding school in Salisbury is seeking a passionate Chemistry Teacher for a full-time, permanent position starting September 2025. As a Chemistry Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding science education from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level. The school prides itself on its academic outcomes, exceptional facilities, and holistic approach to student development, including a vibrant boarding community.

As a Chemistry Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

Delivering engaging Chemistry lessons across KS3-KS5

*

Preparing students for internal and external assessments, including GCSE and A-Level exams

*

Using practical experiments and demonstrations to deepen scientific understanding

*

Creating inclusive and differentiated resources to meet diverse learning needs

*

Collaborating with colleagues to plan schemes of work and cross-disciplinary projects

*

Participating in enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs and science fairs

*

Playing an active role in the boarding and pastoral life of the school

*

Contributing to CPD and departmental development

Ideal candidates for this Chemistry Teacher role will:

Hold a Chemistry degree and PGCE/QTS (or be on track to complete by July 2025)

Be confident in teaching both theoretical and practical Chemistry
