Description
- Manage a portfolio of private clients, ensuring their tax compliance and advisory needs are met.
- Provide expert advice on income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and other personal tax matters.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Identify tax planning opportunities and provide tailored recommendations to clients.
- Support clients with HMRC enquiries and investigations, offering expert representation.
- Collaborate with other departments to offer holistic professional services to clients.
- Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensure clients are informed of their implications.
- Mentor and support junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
Profile
A successful Private Client Tax Manager should have:
- A professional qualification such as CTA, ACA or ACCA.
- Strong technical knowledge of personal tax regulations and compliance.
- Experience managing a portfolio of private clients in the professional services industry.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- A proactive approach to identifying tax planning opportunities.
