The purpose of the role is to provide a highly effective and efficient front-line housing options service, with a primary focus on preventing and relieving homelessness. To undertake assessments and investigations of homelessness approaches and applications in line with the Council's statutory duties under the Housing Act 1996 Part 7 and relevant case law To manage the assessment of customers housing needs in accordance with the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017. To manage a varied case load across one of the following: Single Homeless Pathway Families Pathway

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
