Role: Customer Lifecycle Marketing Manager

Location: Central London

Salary: £50,000 to £65,000 (based on experience)

Benefits: 10% on target bonus, 10% pension, 25 days annual leave and flexi-bens package plus lots more.

 

It seems every other month a new flagship phone is launched. Each with allegedly newer tech, smarter features, longer battery life… Consumers are becoming apathetic to the tiny steps forward and so it's no longer as important as it once was to own the latest and shiniest tech. This leads to a heavier emphasis on putting price under the microscope.

 

As a commercially minded marketer, how do you influence this?

 

Looking to make the right calls in understanding what customers value at what price point. How to get them to see value beyond just the lowest ££ sign.

 

How do you leverage customer data, looking at behaviours and interests, to create the right mix of product and proposition offering to successfully retain and grow customer value, creating the right environment for customers to recognise value, not just see price.

 

You will be briefing projects to the data team who analyse customer data. Looking to identify behavioural insights and trends, identifying at risk customers and those where there is additional value to be gained through the creation of the right set of value propositions.

 

What you will do is match these insights with customer wants and needs to create a suite of value propositions based on the various offerings the business has available.

 

Building business cases for their creation, and championing these with the various internal stakeholders. Getting approval and briefing out requirements to the marketing, campaign and propositions teams to build and take to market.

 

Your measures of success will be how the propositions you've come up with have impacted on customer churn and growth in customer value measures.

 

This is an Agile working environment, so you will get the opportunity to work across the company's range of consumer proposition offerings. Keeping the challenge fresh and interesting, as well as helping to round out your experience. The suite of products will range from mobile, smart devices, TV services and broader telecoms and value added services.

 

Key experience necessary

  • You're able to evidence where you've had to come up with propositions ideas to keep and grow value of customers
  • You're comfortable working with data. Drawing conclusions and turning it into business recommendations
  • Able to balance commercial business objectives with customer needs and able to design solutions which achieve both
  • Your experience is principally consumer market centric doing things like the above
