SEN Tutor - Maidstone

New Chapter Tuition is looking for experienced and dedicated SEN / SEND Tutors to deliver 1:1 personalised tuition to children and young people aged 5-25 across Maidstone.

You will support learners with Autism (ASC), SEMH, ADHD, and additional needs, helping them re-engage with education and achieve positive outcomes.

This role involves delivering sessions in homes, libraries, and community settings.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver high-quality 1:1 tuition tailored to individual needs

* Support students with Autism, SEMH, ADHD, and complex needs

* Plan and adapt lessons in line with EHCPs

* Use trauma-informed and nurture-based approaches

* Build strong, consistent relationships with learners

* Track progress and complete session reports

* Work collaboratively with parents, schools, and professionals

Requirements

* Experience working with SEN / SEND learners (essential)

* Understanding of the UK National Curriculum

* Background as a Teacher, Tutor, TA, HLTA, or Mentor desirable

* Calm, patient, and resilient approach

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* Ability to work independently in community settings

* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

* Right to work in the UK
