About the Role
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking passionate and committed Secondary Supply Teachers to join our network of schools across Durham. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs to gain valuable classroom experience, work within supportive school environments, and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

In this role, you will deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3-5 in your specialist subject, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and ensure all pupils remain motivated and engaged. You'll have the chance to work in a variety of school settings, from large academies to smaller community schools, helping you expand your skills and discover the environment that best suits your teaching style.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching in UK secondary schools

Two suitable references covering the last two years

A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Strong classroom management skills

Genuine passion for teaching and supporting young people

Reliable, adaptable, and confident in a variety of classroom environments
