We are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a range of welcoming and inclusive primary and secondary schools across Warwickshire. Whether you're experienced in education or looking to begin a career supporting children with additional needs, we want to hear from you.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a variety of needs including autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support, both in and out of the classroom
  • Assisting in the implementation of EHCPs and personalised learning plans
  • Encouraging pupil engagement, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists and external professionals
  • Supporting personal care and sensory needs where required
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in education, care, or support settings)
  • A caring, patient and proactive approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work across different schools and age groups
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, CACHE, or similar) are desirable but not essential
