Senior Quantity Surveyor - Leicester

Location: Leicester
Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 (DOE)

A leading UK-based construction and property consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QS to step into a key role with a well-established, multi-sector practice offering a clear route for progression.

We're looking for a commercially astute individual with at least 5 years' experience in Quantity Surveying. While chartership (MRICS) is not essential, candidates working towards professional accreditation are strongly encouraged to apply. The role requires both pre- and post-contract experience, confidence dealing with contractors, and a solid understanding of JCT contracts. Familiarity with NEC is a plus but not essential.

This position is well suited to someone with a background in both client-side and consultancy work, who is keen to be part of a team delivering high-quality results across residential, retail, education, logistics, and commercial sectors.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience

Consultancy and client-facing experience

Pre- and post-contract knowledge

Comfortable liaising with contractors and stakeholders

Strong understanding of JCT contracts (NEC experience a bonus)
