My client, a specialist in non‑destructive roofing and waterproofing testing services, is looking for a Flat Roofing Testing Technician to join their growing team. This is a unique opportunity to use your practical roofing knowledge in a technical, investigative role — with full training on specialist equipment provided.

You'll travel to sites across the UK (including the occasional overnight stay) to carry out integrity testing on flat roofs, mark results, and create clear, professional reports for clients. You'll also work with other building envelope systems such as gas membranes, supporting projects from the initial test right through to completion.

What you'll be doing:

Carrying out on‑site flat roofing integrity tests using specialist equipment.
Marking and recording test results accurately.
Producing professional written reports using company systems.
Liaising with clients on‑site in a professional, confident manner.
Supporting the scheduling and booking of work as needed.
Occasionally testing other building systems, such as gas membranes.
What we're looking for:

Experience in roofing, construction, or building envelope work.
Comfortable with IT — able to use Microsoft Office and produce clear reports.
Physically fit, methodical, and able to work independently.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
