Abatec is assisting a highly regarded South West based Civil Engineering contractor with the recruitment of a Geo-Environmental Technician. Our client, specialising in bulk earthworks and remediation, is recruiting a Geo-Environmental Technician who has, ideally, worked previously in this sector.

As Geo-Environmental Technician, you will:
* Be able to read and interpret earthwork specifications.
* Be responsible for managing geoenvironmental and geotechnical data sets.
* Review data against specifications.
* Liaise with external testing houses
* Be responsible for record keeping, scheduling testing, and in-house sampling.
Our client requires a Geo-Environmental Technician with:
* HND/Degree in Geotechnical, Environmental or related discipline
* CIWM (WAMITAB) would be considered
* CSCS card preferred
* Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
* Full UK driving licence
Salary and benefits include:
* Up to £32,000 per annum
* Company vehicle and fuel card
