Class 1 Drivers

Connect Driver Solutions have exciting opportunities available for Class 1 Drivers (working 4 days on, 4 days off) in Middlesbrough!

Induction to be done then starting immediately if successful. Temporary-to-permanent opportunity.

Pay rates: £14 to £17 per hour (PAYE, no Ltd or outsourced payroll)

Schedule: Day shift; 4 days on 4 days off (we can accommodate either day shift or tramper drivers)

As a Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Class 1 driving operating a walking floor (experience desirable but not essential as training is given)
• Collecting and delivering processed and unprocessed waste & biomass products to various sites across the UK
• Performing vehicle checks

The successful Class 1 Driver will have:

• A valid CAT C+E licence/LGV 1/HGV 1 licence, held for at least two years
• A minimum of 6 months of experience on C+E vehicles
• A valid DQC and digital tacho cards
• No more than six points on your licence with no DD, CD, DR, IN or TT codes accepted
