Key Responsibilities:

Drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for deliveries and collections

Perform vehicle checks before and after shifts (daily walkaround checks)

*

Ensure timely, safe, and secure delivery of goods

*

Complete necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately

*

Maintain communication with transport office regarding delays or issues

*

Adhere to tachograph, Working Time Directive, and highway regulations

*

Load and unload when required (varies per role)

Requirements:

*

Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence

*

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card

*

Minimum [X] months Class 1 experience (can be adjusted)

*

Good knowledge of UK road network and driving laws

*

Excellent timekeeping and communication skills

*

Flexibility for [nights / weekends / tramping - if applicable]

Desirable (but not essential):

Experience with [curtainsiders / containers / refrigerated trailers / ADR - tailor as needed]
